Communication majors at Mercyhurst have the opportunity to get hands-on experience through Mercyhurst's student media outlets.

Laker TV

The student-run television station, Laker TV, is is a great creative outlet for students interested in production and television. Housed in the lower level of the Audrey Hirt Academic Center, the station features programming produced by students, projects created in classes, coverage of major events on campus and information about the Erie community. WMCE - FM 88.5

The campus radio station offers local programming featuring news, music, and campus events. It serves the Erie community while functioning as a great hands-on learning tool for students. The Merciad

The Merciad offers students the opportunity to work for Mercyhurst College's award-winning weekly newspaper. Students can join any of the following sections: news, features, sports, editorial, opinion, graphics, photography, advertising and web. The staff welcomes students from all majors and class years. The newspaper's office is located in the lower level of the Audrey Hirt Academic Center.
